Hello my name is Ruthanne and I am a stay at home mom
with a special needs child with HFA-known as High functioning Autism.
I really enjoy digitizing and have done it for the
last 9 years. When I first started embroidery about 10 years ago, I was
shocked at how much the designs costs. So I began to teach myself how to
digitize. I remember my first design I spent 40 hours on and said wow
this is hard and so much work no wonder it was expensive. Turns out I
was using one of the hardest programs out there. I bought myself a more
user friendly one "Origins" and learned that inside and out and
understood the process of digitizing more clearly. I have now moved on
to more high tech ones to be as creative as my mind will allow me. I am
the kind of person who is like if I don't know the answer to something
or how to do it I surf the web and buy books until I understand it all.
Many of my friends call me with computer issues, health issues law and
digitizing questions. I am more then happy to search out all the
information and help them to the best of my ability.
I spent many many months teaching people how to
digitize. I use to be really good friends with Julie, from designs by
juju. I taught her how to digitize so that she could stay home and be
with her kids. I am so happy for her that she is doing well.
I do not feel I charge allot for my designs. I offer a great deal during
the summer to make sure embroidery stays affordable to everyone but I
think I may have to change that and open up the price club. A one time
fee will get you any set at any time for only 2.50. I really want to
keep it affordable to everyone but I have to feed my family and pay my
bills to.
Well I hope you enjoy your visit and please come back
again real soon .
